This page and the "Ask about a spot" contact form relate to the "Na fali" retreat. Below you'll find information on how we process the personal data of people who contact us or sign up to take part in the retreat, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
The controller of personal data is the coordinator of the "Na fali" retreat:
Magdalena Szaroleta, os. Leśne 9B, 62-020 Zalasewo, Poland, NIP (tax ID) 7792086250
contact: kontakt@katarzynametlak.com
We only collect data that you give us yourself — by writing to us through the form, email, or another contact method listed on the site. This is usually:
We use this data to respond to your inquiry, carry out the sign-up process for the retreat, and — if you decide to join — coordinate your participation (pre-trip communication, organizational information). We do not sell or share your data with other companies for marketing purposes.
The basis for processing is: consent given by sending an inquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and — for people who decide to take part in the retreat — the necessity of processing to take steps before entering into a contract and to perform it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We keep the data of people who wrote to us but did not join the retreat for as long as needed to handle the inquiry, and no longer than 12 months from the last contact. We keep the data of retreat participants for the duration of our collaboration and for the period required by law (e.g. tax regulations), where applicable.
We are not a travel agency — we do not act as an intermediary for payments for flights, hotel or local attractions, so as a rule we don't pass your data to external providers of those services; you make bookings (flight, accommodation, excursions) yourself, directly with the relevant provider, unless you explicitly ask us to help with a booking and separately agree to that. We may use trusted technical tools (e.g. email, website hosting), which have limited access to data in connection with providing those services to us.
Under GDPR you have the right to:
To exercise these rights, write to us at the address given in point 1.
Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary for us to be able to respond to your inquiry or carry out the retreat sign-up process.
During the retreat we take photos and recordings of participants, which may be used in Na fali's promotional materials (e.g. on this site, on social media). The basis for processing your image is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 81 of the Polish Act on Copyright and Related Rights). If you don't want your image published, let us know before the trip — we'll prepare a statement for you to sign declining consent, so we can take that into account. You can withdraw your consent to use your image at any time, except for materials already published before the withdrawal.

This is a privacy-policy template prepared for the "Na fali" site. It contains standard GDPR clauses but does not replace legal advice — especially regarding the exact legal form of the business (sole trader, unregistered activity, registered company, partnership), any obligation to register as a tour organizer, and the terms and conditions and cancellation policy. Before publishing, it's worth having a lawyer or advisor review the whole thing.
